Robert has 21 years of experience in the energy trading industry, across risk, finance, and commercial roles. He spent over 16 years at bp, advancing from Senior Analyst for Gas Commodity Risk through Commodity Risk Manager and Commercial Manager for Natural Gas Trading & Marketing, up to Head of Strategic Change & Operational Risk for bp’s Gas & Power Trading Americas business. He joined PathPoint Energy as Chief Risk Officer in 2021 and moved into the same role at Spotlight Energy following its 2025 acquisition. Robert holds a BBA in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from Baylor University.
